Unlike other Khmer websites on the Internet, Angkorthom.US is more controlled by our Admin Team to keep it family oriented for our members to enjoy. We are certain that you are here to look for Khmer or Cambodia related information, to make friends, to help others with their needs or problems and to be a good member of this community. Therefore; please read these rules and abide to them so we all can keep this forum organized and member-friendly. Rules below are also applicable to the Private messaging (PM) section as well.

1. Spam is NOT tolerated in anyway at Angkorthom.US under any circumstance. “Non-substance” posting just to add links to your or other's website or increasing number of posting to achieve a higher rank will be considered spam.

2. Always read the forum description before posting so that you post in the right forum to get your question answered quickly. If you can’t find a forum to post, ask the Admin Team.

3. Your posting must be respectful to other members regardless of your disagreements or differences in opinion. Flaming, abusing or attacking other members will not be tolerated.

4.There are bad words that are automatically censored. When a word is automatically censored by Angkorthom.US, either don't use the word or use a nicer word. Adding dash or manipulate to display the word in any other way will violate Angkorthom.US rule.

5. Your posting must be family oriented including pictures and avatar. Pornographic or offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated.

6. Members must NOT violate copyright of other members, sites, media, etc. and obtain appropriate permission from the owner before posting. Members or visitors may not take any pictures, information or other media from Angkorthom.US without permission and share in any other website or anybody.

Note: Angkorthom.US is NOT responsible of any charges or damages any member receives because of his/her copyright infringement. You know what is right and what is wrong and are responsible for your own actions. We assume that for every media you post on Angkorthom.US is your or you have appropriate permission from the owner to use on Angkorthom.US.

7. Signatures may contain up to 2 lines of text - 200 characters max. Signature image must be fairly small. All rules above are applicable to signature as well.

8. Avatar must be less than 15KB and 100 by 100 pixels in size. All rules above are applicable to avatar as well.

9. One member is allowed to register only once with one user name. There is no need to registered multiple times.

10. Angkorthom.US Administrator reserves the rights to remove any member, posting or picture anytime without advance notice or explanation.

11. Posting deemed to be a competition for Angkorthom.US will be deleted without notice.

12. An inactive user name will be deleted if the profile created contains inactive e-mail or URL to a non-Cambodian commercial website.

13 If your user name has a pornographic website attached to it, we will delete your user name and profile right away without warning and you will be banned permanently from this forum.

14. Any political discussions or postings are absolutely NOT allowed at Angkorthom.US. So do not discuss or post anything directly or indirectly related to any political party either in the country or overseas.

15. Do not use the forum to get even with someone. If someone is off topic and begin to attack you, don't respond and inform one of the Admin Team members. If you want to get even with someone take it somewhere else.

16. When you posted pictures or information on Angkorthom.US, that copy of the picture or information belongs to the Angkorthom.US community. You can't remove the picture or information without a permission from the Admin Team. So before you post, you need to be sure that picture or information can be shared on the Internet. A picture with logo of other website is not allowed on Agnkorthom.US.

17. These rules may be changed, deleted or added anytime.

If you are having problem getting the activation e-mail from us or not able to activate your profile within two days, use the contact form to send Angkorthom.US Administrator email. We will work with you to resolve the problem and get the profile activated for you.

If you are here just to spam the forum with your user names or postings and make troubles, you are wasting your time. Your user name will be detected and permanently banned.

A member who violates any rule above will be warned for 3 times. Then, a permanent ban from the forum will be issued. We reserve the right to remove any member or any post from Angkorthom without explanation or warning.

Our goal is to keep the site as clean as possible so we all can share. So let's help keep it that way by respecting each other.

Hi all,
Angkorthom Admin Team just wanted to remind our community the forum rule number 9 above. One member should only register and use one user ID at a time. Creating multiple user IDs to manipulate polls or discussions are not fair to other members.

If you now have multiple user IDs, PM me the ones that you don't use so I can deactivate them.
